Between 2.45 to 3.00 there is huge movement in price

Approximately between 2.45 to 3.00 …there is huge movement in price and in my understanding either its short covering or long unwinding.

So before 2.45 …is there any way we can know if that particular scrip has shorts or long for that day?
I am only talking about intraday position of that scrip (only for that day - I am not asking about future and options positions)

So if we know ahead of time that scrip has shorts on that day …we can be prepared for short covering coming at about 2.45 to 3.00 pm …and if it has long position than it will be unwinding.

Just check volume profile in tradingview.

volume profiles does not say either there are shorts or long in that scrip …there should another way to find out

So, most of the volume on the exchange is due to institutional trading.

And the big moves, especially in liquid stocks is mainly from institutions. Also, It’s very unlikely that institutions do intraday trades.

However, One way you can get a rough idea is looking the bid and ask volume along with the general intraday price action/trend.
