Recently the retail quota of HDFC AMC was oversubscribe by 6.5x. I have bid for 4 lots but not allotted any. Is it fair to assume if i had bid for 13 lots(max. as a retailer), i would have been alloted 1 or 2 lots or is there some other logic?
Its pure lottery. Chances of Allotment are same irrespective of no. of lots you apply. Check basis of allotments for past few ipo’s for details.
