Input Buyback number of shares

Say I have 100 shares of Oil India. And buyback entitlement ratio comes out to be 40%. Instead of putting 40 shares can I put 100 shares in buyback form in zerodha. Can we put more than entitlement ratio? Will they accept partial or they will reject?

Say actual acceptance ratio turns out to be 70% .then they will accept 70 and keep 30 in my demat right?

@sabkaview

Stock buybacks refer to the repurchasing of shares of stock by the company that issued them. A buyback occurs when the issuing company pays shareholders the market value per share and re-absorbs that portion of its ownership that was previously distributed among public and private investors

@Ronak_Mota : yes you can and in my view you should offer all hundred shares . chances are that more than 40% the FIRM ENTITLEMENT, will be accepted if you offer.Please note that you can not offer more than what you held on record date.
