Is there trading on Saturday and Sunday as well?

Hello friends,

I saw price changes in Kite on Saturday and Sunday. Is there trading allowed now on weekends as well ?
If they are mock trading then the next day the values should be reset to 0. But today morning also, I saw
the price changes appearing much before 9:15 am.

Last saturday was mock trading, check below to know more. Mock trading is conducted to test out the systems of brokers. Sunday there would be no ticks.

Why are there live ticks on a Saturday?

There is something called a pre-market session between 9 am to 9.15 am. Check this.

Thanks @nithin but Sunday (yesterday) too i saw the ticks, I cleared the browser cache and re-checked
in different browsers but found the ticks appearing. Anyways it may have been mock.

haha…it’s only mock which you may be aware…or are you hinting to NSE, SEBI to start weekend/ 24*7 F&O trading to mint more money. already our markets are completely manipulated / screwed up & such moves will deteriorate further.
