What is Narrow Range

How does professional traders use narrow range for trading Intraday or swing trade??

The Range of Yesterday’s Daily Candle ( High - Low ) is the lowest value of the past 4 or 7 consecutive days.

Not sure if the Real Professionals really use any of these Technical analysis based Trading Setups these days, but here are some NR 4 & NR 7 Trading Setup Strategies sold to Retail Traders.

SETUP 1

LONG = Yesterday is a NR day and When Today’s LTP cross ABOVE Yesterday’s High.

SHORT = Yesterday is a NR day and When Today’s LTP cross BELOW Yesterday’s Low.

SETUP 2

LONG = Yesterday is a NR day and When Today’s Low is ABOVE Yesterday’s High.

SHORT = Yesterday is a NR day and When Today’s High is BELOW Yesterday’s Low.

SETUP 3

LONG = Yesterday is a NR day and Yesterday is an Inside Candle and When Today’s LTP cross ABOVE Yesterday’s High.

SHORT = Yesterday is a NR day and Yesterday is an Inside Candle and When Today’s LTP cross BELOW Yesterday’s Low.

It identifies stocks which have ranged lowest today compared to last 6 days… Action wud b either abv today’s high or low… Added volume filter (greater than 5 lakhs) to eliminate illiquid stocks… U may modify as per ur choice…
