Hi,
I would like to know if there are any additional charges when selling mf which are held in demat mode as compared to holding them in normal mode ( non demat ) ?
Hi,

It has debit charges which is around Rs.5.5 per debit irrespective of quantity.
A DP charge of Rs 5.5 will be applicable when you exit a fund, that’s it.
A DP charge (Depository Participant charge) of Rs.5.5+ GST is payable to CDSL( the Depository) per mutual fund debit from your Demat account.
If you hold it in non-Demat form, then, of course, DP charges are not applicable but you also lose the many advantages of holding the MF in Demat form.
Thanks … just to confirm. DP charge of 5.5 is irrespective of number of units being redeemed.
Is my understanding correct ?
Yes, that’s right.
Thanks
