why parameters of some indicators (such as MACD or DMI or ADX ) are changed by professionals?

People will change them to suite their trading strategy based on their experience. There is nothing like one parameter that is good and will start giving profits, just need to find their own with trail and error. Most importantly if one parameter is working for some one that doesn’t mean it will work for others, one need to find their own. Enhancement of one’s strategy is the only way to success.
