I have made a long term loss on gold ETF and short term loss on shares. I have made LTCG on shares as well below 1 lakh. I have made profit in f& o. Can I adjust my loss against f&o and take benefit of profit on shares as exempt profit.
You cannot set off capital loss against FNO Income; reason being capital losses cannot be set off against any other head of income.
