After Selling Options (call/put), can we buy it back before expiry to square off

you can buy it any time even with in next second also. that is called square off your position.

if you are asking this question that means you are very new to trading, so not recommended to trade in options for at least one year.
that too Option Selling ( Shorting ) is more dangerous.

read about Options here.

dont trade in options before reading the above.

thnk you for your advice and reply.

i wll follow your instructions & never trade options @ present.

There is no rule that you shouldn’t trade options in the first year of starting to trade. You have to be aware of the risks involved and educate yourself to mitigate/explore them. The link @haribabu has placed in his reply, is a good start to understanding how things work in Options Trading. It’s a better way to learn from Zerodha/Varsity. From my personal experience, I found Options theory a bit overwhelming after reading but only understood after implementing it [yes I did that in the 2nd month of trading in F&O segment, and I made profits too].

Like I said, try to mitigate your risks first, and don’t listen to anyone who says “you can’t do it!
