It will be sent to the exchange at 9am. Why are you placing an AMO market order? It can be executed at any price. See the price movement tomorrow at 9.15 am and then place an order. It will be better that way.

In Zerodha, order will be at “AMO received” state till 9.15
Post that, around at 9:15:45 or 9.16am → order will become active “OPEN” state. so expect 10 seconds to 60 seconds delay.

BTST entries are usually made after 2pm and sold next day…
But again, 9.15 to 9.30 will have wild swings both side, so one can get good entry/exit if lucky…
Yeah I already bought the shares. Can’t trade on friday as ill be caught up in work. Hence opting for Amo.
