To begin with I’d suggest you try the Pivot tables.
The problem with support and resistance is that there is a bit of subjectivity involved. The points that I consider as support may actually not be a support for you. Likewise for resistance. Hence converting this to software can be problematic.
However pivot table is a standard formula, it just requires few basic straight forward inputs. Hence there is no ambiguity involved.
