This was a topic of concern for most commodity traders until the budget of 2013 (when FM introduced Commodity Transaction Tax), but it was also made very clear that commodity derivative transactions carried out in recognized commodity exchanges(MCX, NCDEX and others) would not be considered as a speculative transaction.
