Are my old stocks worth anything?

Hi,
I just found out that my father bought some shares of two companies Murablack and Baroda Synthetics Ltd. in year 1992-93. But I couldn’t find these companies trading currently. Could anyone please tell me what has happened with these companies? Are those old shares worth anything now?
