Yes, the weights are reset to 50-50 every quarter. However, one needs to take cognizance of the fact that due to daily price movements, the ratio for all practical purposes will never exactly be 50-50. A live index/portfolio will always show some deviation on account of market movements. For instance, as of the rebalance on March 28, 2025 the Largecap-Midcap bifurcation was appx 49.97-50.03 and as of April 3, 2025 the bifurcation is appx 49.58 - 50.42, mostly due to market movements.
Sir
When or at what time on the last trading day of every quarter should we check the ratio on the website or fund house details page so as to get the details?
Another a suggestion
Sir can you talk on retail investors behalf that one can cancel only the selling mutual funds transaction so as to delay the selling if one regrets on selling the same??
@VishalJain :- are you having any ETF or planning to bring , which will track US S &P 500 index? If no please try to bring.
Apart from motilal Oswald S&P 500 which is closed from time to time, we donāt have much option
Hi, there is a $8 billion limit on this which has is now full and therefore difficult to do international products right now unless limits are opened. We are awaiting the same.
I donāt understand one thing though MON100 ETF is still available which is based on NASDAQ Index. Why isnāt there something called S&P 500 ETF in NSE?
Actually there is, check out the MASPTOP50 ETF
https://www.nseindia.com/get-quotes/equity?symbol=MASPTOP50
However, this ETF invests in only the Top 50 stocks of the S&P 500 index, not all.
