GTT’s OCO has TP and SL which can be visualized on charts that we can drag and drop as TP and SL, so can we expect to get something similar on kite @KarthikAcharya

Yep, this is on our list of things to do. We can’t comment on the timeline, but it’s in the pipeline.

Why does Zerodha always seem to be 5 steps behind technologically compared to other top brokers, even some with far fewer clients than you? Don’t you guys think that in the coming years, as stock-market participation among Gen Z in India continues to grow, you could be left behind by competitors who are much more technologically conscious?

A lot of what you’ve mentioned is already available across Kite latest updates and the Zerodha ecosystem.
We have no plans to build another app. Also, bringing everything into one place in Kite would require a significant UI revamp. If we plan a larger UI revamp in the future, we can definitely look at this. For now, having everything on a single screen isn’t feasible.

Btw, a lot of this is already there within Kite. The Screener is already live on Kite web with top gainers, losers and other filters, and you’ll see it on the app as well in the coming days.
Regarding fundamentals and technicals, we already have both widgets in Kite, powered by Tijori and Streak respectively. Again, stock specific news, you can find it under the Events section within Fundamentals and portfolio timeline on Console.
FII/DII data is also already available through Sensibull for Zerodha users. We haven’t added it directly to Kite yet, but this is on our roadmap.
As for a general market news feed, we haven’t really looked at adding one yet, since a lot of market news is API driven and you often end up seeing the same headlines across platforms.

I really wonder when these reasons for not being agile and implementing things will stop. Especially when competition with greater number of users then Zerodha is being able to achieve this.

i have observed every broker is good in some features but lags behind others in other features. I have used at-least 4 or 5 different brokers for comparison.
Zerodha’s sensibull is much better than any other site accessible to public. However , streak is 2nd or 3rd as compared to other tools available on internet. Zerodha’s charts and watchlist UI interface i would rank as 3rd compared to other brokers. Tijori finance is also a great tool. But kite offers certain subtle features that no other broker does. Charts, watchlist and alert systems are feature rich but require UI tweaks.

Nope, no such plans. DDPI needs to be esigned and stamped when submitted online, hence the cost involved.
