Yes, you will have to authorize the sale of shares on expiry day.
First you need to have shares in demat to authorize it.

Pledged holdings doesn’t show up in Kite Holdings tab brother. They are shown only on Console.

If u square off ur sold call option before expiry you need not give delivery. Otherwise you need to authorize in cdsl and give delivery on expiry day.
If sold call option expires as OTM no action needed you will retain premium
