Bank Nifty & Fin Nifty - Why can't we have only single weekly expiry for finance stocks

been highlighting this right from the start.

i stopped complaining & started embracing this redundancy. similar strategies will work on both finnifty & banknifty in the ratio of the correlation.

Suggestions for NSE Derivative exchanges!

@nithin Wouldnt it be very convenient if we get somebody to represent the exchange on this forum? One more issue needs your attention. HDFC and HDFCbk are getting merged causing 87.77% weightage of Niftybank equating to FinNifty. Just for 12.23% weightage, NSE will have to maintain FINNIFTY index, options. The index performance will be similar to Niftybank after the weightage causing redundancy & unwanted speculations on Tuesdays. Again i tweeted to the exchange but no response. [image]
