How is premium 1200? banknifty closed at 31537 so ending premium is 37 *20 = 740 and stt is 780, if it is exercised he would have ended up paying more. Please go through the thread and other threads in this forum to get more clarity.
@siva got itā¦thanksā¦the initial premium is 1200ā¦so this STT as more than the intrinsic profit he will end up paying STT apart from initial premium foregone.
So option was not exercised
Simple if not squared off 90 percent cases wonāt be exercised
