I understand that banknifty options are highly volatile. But changing the order manually is not possible for working people like myself.

Today I also faced this issue. Such issues are making people think about other brokers. This might not be the issue of zerodha, but anyone who needs such feature will surely try to get one way or another!!!

Yesā¦upstox has far better features than zerodhaā¦they provide BO for MCX as well .

One more good thing about upstox is their fingerprint login facility which saves time of a trader with lightning speed loginā¦

Upstox provide BO for all options including indices and stock options and mcx as wellā¦

But i will have to leave u owing to glitches in BO, and lack of BO in only weekly traded options banknifty, no price alerts on kite, and also due to additional rules such as sell off at 3.15 instead of 3.20.If u can be so selfish than we can also be equally demanding.

No point of offering BO for banknifty options as stoploss order will be market and for sure it will end in big slippage and few times those can result in out of execution range trades eventually leaving main leg open.
BO for mcx will take some more time.
Not if the stop loss is bigger and same for target.

Upstox provide fingerprint login for lightning fast login , also upstox provide free price alerts facility . Zerodha have lots of products but all are value added services but upstox provide all those services for free like free price alerts, free option Greeks and options chain, free option pay-off diagram, free mutual fund investments, their margin in indices and stocks fno are also 6 times as compared to 2.5 times in zerodhaā¦
@siva @nithinā¦there is no doubt that Zerodha lags behind upstox ā¦ I know it does not make sense by saying all those things as you are the second largest broker and likely to be the largest broker soonā¦but pls remember it will be not far some day broker like upstox became number one as they respond to client needsā¦

I canāt comment about other brokers but may be because we appreciate Risk more than many.
We are also working on login part in a different way, soon should be out.
Even we offer basic alert based on LTP for free, option greeks for free, investing into mutual funds via coin is free but one should not go after which is free alone. We offer alerts on multiple data points at a minimal cost, I can say our option platform offers most advanced features than any other retail platform currently in India, also I personally believe one should not consider these minimal charges as an hurdle indeed they are small investments and if correctly managed have scope to offer good returns.

Excuses, excuses, excuses, plain and simple excuses every single time u ask zerodha for any facility. .what kind of rocket science does it need to allow fingerprint scanner, and price alerts that any 25mb app on playstore is offering?? Do u even know how much it hurts seeing ur hero fail?? Simple BO in MCX or options. .blame it on sebi policies or some technical nonsense. .BO fails to exit, blame it on market fluctuations. .do u even realize how fastly u r loosing clients??.
I know of hardcore zerodha partners(one with many zerodha clients) having changed to upstox. What a shame. .the leader in this class is letting a newbie destroy it just cause it is milking the cash cow now.
No investment in technology, no new initiatives.
I am writing this not cause u guys r paying me to write. Spending this time just to let u guys know, this way zerodha is gonna be history by 2022.
Just excuses on why this canāt be done, that canāt be done. Learn from kodek learn from Motorola. If u will not invest in the future, someone else will, and that future aināt gonna have u in it.

Bloody thing I took nifty otm contract when in cash trying to average it says same error when contacted zerodha they said same reason ,this is wrong
@Siva @bhuvan Will zerodha unblock BO atleast this year or is it permanently blocked.Other brokers have enabled long time back.Why is zerodha blocking this for a long time.ar eu expecting vix<10 to enable this 
We are not yet comfortable allowing BO , each broker has different risk perception.
We are still seeing stocks are hitting circuits either side, nothing to do with VIX.
