If market or stock of particular company is of bullish nature say for a period of a week or more, then what investment strategy we can follow in bearish market?
In a bearish market every stock is hammered. If the stock you believe is good despite the overall bearish environment, AND if you are ok with taking delivery of the stock, you can consider writing PUT option of that stock.
Beware, writing PUT option exposes you to high risk and exposure. But, since the stock in question is something that you’d like to hold for long term and you have faith in its fundamentals, you can write PUT on such stocks. The premiums that you will get on PUT would be high, considering the bearish environment. VIX too should support you.
