Hi @Nandu_Reddy , currently, existing NPS subscribers cannot shift from another CRA/POP to Zerodha. We are working on enabling the migration of NPS subscribers from one NPS service provider to another.
Does it take time?
Are you new here? It may take a few years ![]()
This will be live on coin within a few weeks.
Hi @Ansu ,Kindly reach out to your registered POP to unfreeze your NPS account. PRAN-related activities can be performed by POPs only when the PRAN is registered with them.
Hi Neelesh, do you have any update on NPS portability?
Hi @santosh7 , We’re working on NPS migration to enable subscribers to migrate from another POP/CRA to Zerodha. The feature will be live soon.
Any updates ?
Just FYI, a list of the various charges associated with NPS is available here.
There appear to be quite a few recurring and transaction-based charges.
Just nominate her?
she is nominee in all of my investment. I want gift her money to invest in NPS so she doesn’t have to manage anything and can have monthly income after she turns 60.
@Bhuvan @nithin I am able to see a POP shifting option in NPS to Zerodha will it work? Screen shot attached.
Any update regarding nps shifting?
Hi @Roby @vamsi_Nadimpalli ,Currently, we don’t support direct migration of NPS accounts from other providers to Zerodha. However, we’re actively working on enabling this feature and will announce it once it’s live.
In the meantime, you can migrate your NPS account to Zerodha through our pension agent i.e, Pensionbox. Once migrated, you’ll be able to view and track your investments on the PensionBox dashboard. Once our migration feature is live, you’ll also have the option to invest and track your NPS investments directly through Coin.
I can see zerodha suggesting corporate nps through pensionbox.
For individual NPS, Does zerodha share customer data to third party like pensionbox(like uses their platform) or everything is built inhouse(except CRA)?
Is there any advantage in moving my NPS account from current operator to Zerodha coin? Is it just to see all my investments in one single place?
If there is any value addition to this move then I would be interested, perhaps pledging the NPS holdings would be wonderful, raised this topic earlier but @Bhuvan mentioned that this is not possible!
