I recently found a paper share cert of ICICI BANK
The share holder is my aunt who passed away 12 years back
ICICI bank says total 275 shares are there, but because there was no claimant, 250 shares (bonus issued over the past few years) were transferred to the Govt.
I think he was referring to the IEPF fund,
I know dividends can be credited to the IEPF fund, but not sure how bonus shares can also be credited to Govt!!!
He says there are only 25 shares which I can claim.
Does anybody know how I can claim this shares back from the govt?
