If the ex dividend date is Sep 16, then you will get the dividend if you:
- buy the share on or before Sep 15, and
- sell the share on or after Sep 16 (or don’t sell it at all!)

Generally, the dividend is paid out after 30-45 days of the record date. In case you have bought the stocks before the ex-date, or if you have sold them on the ex-date, you will be eligible for the dividend announced by the company.

If you are eligible for dividends and have not received it even after the dividend payment date, you will need to contact the companies’ registrar

The “final dividend” payment date is actually longer than the interim’s.
Likely to hit on or before 27/10/2021…
