Hi,

One of my Indian friends will be moving to Australia for career opportunities. Can she access the zerodha and trade from Australia in this case? Does zerodha track IP address and location and block her account if accessed from another country?

What if they still using after shifting outside india, what consequence will they face regarding tax ?

This is a grey area. You can continue operating your account as is but to avoid any scrutiny from the RBI and IT department, if your residence status has changed, it’s best to convert the account to NRI.

I wonder how many of them will face this issue, many people continue using app though they are outside india.
