Can I Block a part of available cash while using Margins on Zerodha?

If I have 10,000 in balance and want to buy 100 shares with 5000 using equity margins (MIS), can I do that?

This is not Possible. The full available funds get utilized first.

in MIS or B/O, C/O whatever you buy you get at leverage, your money will be blocked by broker as much your order needs after leverage.
