Can I buy and sell regular mutual funds through brokerage accounts?

I’m an NRI who is interested in investing in Indian market, predominantly mutual funds. I’m interested in a wide basket of funds — such as, equity (large, middle, small cap), debt(long term, short term) etc. I want to avoid creating numerous accounts for these different categories. Is it possible for me to buy & sell regular mutual funds (NOT ETFs) through brokerage accounts like Zerodha

BSE has a MF platform called Star MF, so you can buy MF and it gets credited to your demat account (similar to stocks). NAV of the fund changes once a day.

We at Zerodha should be able to offer this soon.

Thank you Nitin. I will look into the star MF. Do you expect Zerodha to support the star MF platform sometime this year?
