Can I show interest on borrowed money and advisory fees as expenses while filing tax as investor

I have taken personal loan and put that money in equity with the intention of holding stocks for more than one year (to avoid tax). I am salaried employee and repaying the borrowed money in EMI form. I have paid advisory fee for providing the stock tips and I am trading in delivery segment only.

Is it possible to show interest on borrowed money and advisory fees as expenses while filing tax as an investor.

If it is not possible to show the interest on borrowed as expenses as an investor is there any other ways to mention about the loan amounts in ITR2

As an investor, you are filing all your returns as capital gains. You can’t really show any business expenses, if you don’t have any business income.

So not possible on ITR2, but yes on ITR4 (as a business)
