You can use the proceeds received from sale of stock from your holdings to purchase other stocks, there will be no penalty. More on this has has been explained [here](https://tradingqna.com/t/changes-in-margin-requirements-from-1st-sep-2020/88915)

Yeah, rare cases when one is dealing with ASM/GSM stocks, otherwise it should not as I know.
