Can I Take Trade in F&O in NRML and Square-off the same Day

Can we buy options means (F&O) in CNC product type… And them if i want it to be a intraday trade… Can i square off it at that same day???

CNC product type isn’t available for F&O, if you want to take overnight positions in F&O there is NRML product type.

You can take trade in NRML and square it off the same day as well.

You look like you are new to F&O, would like to suggest you to go through Varsity and learn more about Futures and Options before trading them :slightly_smiling_face:

Okay… Means CNC is not available for F&O…its only for equity cash …
Its means i saw some traders they square off their F&O options in the same day… Its means they r either using MIS or NRML product type…
So NRML is kindoff like CNC for options…right sir?

You don’t get leverage for Buying Options, you will have to pay entire premium upfront. For Shorting is MIS, you will need 24% of NRML margin for Index Options and 30% of NRML margin for Stock Options, you can check this for more.
