Is a listed company in India, like say TCS, allowed to trade in derivatives (I know equity investments are allowed to be made by almost all types of entities be it individuals or institutions)? If yes, will it be called prop trading(or is prop trading defined only for financial firms?)?
Are other entities like private limited companies, proprietorships, SMEs etc allowed to trade in derivatives?
