Can the mutual fund short term loss be adjusted against trading?

Hi,

I wanted to know if the mutual fund short term loss can be adjusted against the intraday profit or the short term profit in trading?

Short Term Capital Loss (STCL) can be set off with Short Term Capital Gain (STCG) or Long Term Capital Gain (LTCG). Profit from Intraday trading is a Speculative Income.

Therefore, STCL from sale of mutual funds cannot be set off with Speculative Profit from Intraday trading.
