Can we transfer amount from F&O to Commodities in my account, where can i see how to do this details.

Hi Ramu,

You cannot do this directly from your trading account. You will have to withdraw money from your F&O segment, receive such funds in your bank account and then transfer such funds to your Commodity segment.

Both FMC & SEBI do not allow the broker to do internal transfers from Equity segment to Commodities or vice versa even if the trading account is of the same client.

Commodity account is separately maintained. So if you have sufficient cash balance in your Savings Bank (ICICI, HDFC etc) transfer the funds to your commodity account using Pay-In option. (The same procedure how you will transfer to Equity Account, except you should choose Commodity Segment while transferring). You will get the money in your Commodity Account immediately and enter your desired position.

Meanwhile open your backoffice, and raise a fund withdrawal request from your equity balance to your Savings account (ICICI, HDFC etc). You will receive the funds next day, if you place the request before evening.

In both sides you will incur, Payment gateway charges, some 9+9=18 rupees, I think.
