Can you do positional option writing?

If suppose I am pledged my stocks and got margin of Rs 1 lakh, can I do position option writing? Or is it that I can only do intraday option writing?

As long as your hold the CASH component as well, you can do positional option writing.

Is it like you have to hold 50:50 cash and margin ratio?

Yes, 50% cash. rest from your pledge.

yes, you can, but margin requirement will be higher

You can pledge SOV GOLD bonds as cash equivalent but you will still need MTM swing P/L position to be kept as cash.
