CAS needs to be rolled back

Wow, people have become so impatient.
At least in last couple of years, I have seen multiple instances when a rule has changed and next day people have started complaining and demanding roll back (and threatning that they will stop trading :stuck_out_tongue: )

But neither are rules being rolled back nor people stopped trading.
So have some patience people

Not bad at all today
Hope this encourages further participation, and we have a liquid CAS period in the future…

All the the new rules always hit the retailers first no one is there to adders retailers issue, at least to listen to the retailers issue , there is no one from the regulators nor from the brokers side is causing the impatience.

Yeah life is unfair and so are markets. You have to suck it up.
Unless you have wherewithal to organize a protest on jantar mantar, you don’t have lot of options

Hardly 3 days have passed in you have already decided system has failed? give it some time, let it stabilize and then pass judgement. That is what I meant by patience.

Almost all brokers in India seem to act nonchalant when it comes to issues that are in the best interest of retail traders. I’ve been noticing for days that the opening, closing, high and low price of the first candle is messed up across almost every broker. TradingView is the only one that gets it right most of the time—and even it fumbles occasionally.

I think this is a serious issue that deserves serious attention.

The problem is across all brokers, Zerodha, Groww, Dhan, blah blah blah… If TradingView can get the opening candle roughly right most of the time, that tells me the big brokers in India simply aren’t taking this seriously. And neither the exchange nor SEBI seems to be intervening.

I haven’t decided , i just expressed my view , If you are a big trader it may be ok for you , there are many people who don’t understand and take time to adjust

Nah… TradingView isn’t even a broker, lmao. :joy:

can you show some SS where the opening candle is displaying incorrectly. I use zerodha groww and tradingview charts. Didn’t find such a thing.

ill attach around 20 screenshots by tomorrow. I’m too tired right now.

Only 13 point move on Friday. :face_with_monocle:
Hopefully not too much vol on next expiry! :crossed_fingers:

Do you trade fno ? If yes then please highlight which problems it will solve for derivative traders . It can remain muted for weeks and then blow up one day, distorting the iv behaviour for days .

If you don’t trade fno , then with all due respect none of this applies to you and you have no skin in the game .

@siva Did NSE provide the Indicative Eq Price from 3rd Aug that brokers did not provide in client apps?

At whose end did this critical bit of implementation not occur? Apparently, since yesterday, various Brokers are rushing to announce that IEP will be available.

NSE provided from day 1, brokers only added recently, everyone assumed this implementation will be delayed or pushed to new date hence I believe why brokers were not able to add from day 1.

edit: now it showing, but started showing 5min late

you can see how CAS is their new age scam. Earlier, with VWAP, you need real orders to swing nifty spot from 400 to 485 indicative which i can see.

now they are doing without real trades, just juggling orders and the CE/PE volatility is the same as vwap era.

the only true way is for vwap closing at 3.15PM for 0dte. ( maybe starting at 2:45PM )
