CDSLMutual fund transferred through CDSL easiest

Hi All,

I had raised the request through CDSL easiest to transfer my Mutual funds and Shares from Angel One to Sharekhan.

However, In the sharekhan app, I could see that Shares are reflecting properly but Mutual Funds are still reflecting in the Angel one app (when I checked CDSL easiest-Angel One broker ID), for all the transactions, It is reflecting that that “Transaction forwarded to CDSL for processing”, and there is no Mutual fund reflecting in Angel One easiest account.

I am yet to check the same from Sharekhan CDSL account to confirm if the MuTual funds are reflecting in it or not.

But yesterday when i downloaded the CAS statement, I could see that all the shares are MF are reflecting under sharekhan broker Id.

Can anybody pls help me understand if the MF have been successfully transferred from AngelOne to sharekhan. If yes, then why is it that those are not reflecting in sharekhan app but Angelone app.

If those are successfully transferred, then, can i close my Angelone account ( even though MF are appearing in the Angel one app). Lastly, how can i sell these MF from sharekhan app if the same are not reflecting in the app.

Most likely, your mutual fund investments are folio-based (non-demat) rather than demat-based. That’s why they aren’t showing up in CDSL Easiest, which only displays securities held in CDSL demat accounts. Folio-based MFs can’t be transferred through CDSL Easiest.

CAS is a consolidated statement that includes demat-based and folio-based investments, which is why your mutual funds appear there.

To clear up any confusion about whether your investment is folio or demat based, it’s advisable to contact your former broker for clarification.
