How can I change address registered in my dp records
very simple . just approach / submit online ( as the case may be )your DP with a request letter along with copy of address proof . once your DP accepts the documents , it should be done in few hours .

Who is your DP? Depending on that, the right process can be suggested.
@mornington : my DP is a cooperative bank so if required one has to visit any branch of the bank with original address proof and also a copy to get the needful done .
with online brokers like zerodha etc is it being done only through xerox copy or do they have some arrangement to verify the original ? @Prakhar_Agrawal
