Any clue how is the below decision from exchanges and SEBI going affect API traders?
This is currently at the member level. If we find any client putting a lot of orders which dont’ get executed, we will pass on these charges to the clients.
But suppose, a client takes up lot of small trades with lot of orders. So he may also have stop loss order in place for those positions. So, if the target is achieved or he may want to do a position sizing, he would cancel the stoploss order. So canceling of the SL order will also result in OTR increase? And be charged for this?
This is at an overall member level, not individual client level. So we will see how it goes, will keep everyone posted.
