CNC Sell and MIS Sell order

Hello,
Can I place CNC sell order for company A (for the shares I hold in my demat) as well as MIS sell order for company A shares to assume short selling position in the same day ?
Are these two sell orders possible in the same day?

Yes, you can place CNC order as well as MIS order for same scrip on same day.
