Collateral for trading in Commodities

If i wish to trade in commodities on MCX, partly through margins raised from collateralised securities; What choice do i have today ?
Can i pledge something like liquidbees on MCX to raise margins to trade ?

Yes you can pledge liquid MF instruments but option are very lesser in comparison to NSE. You may check exhaustive list in MCX circulars.

@siva What options do i have with Zerodha for pledging on MCX ?

Not possible for now, may be once we integrate our equity ledger and commodities then it can be.

Nope, not for commodities.

We’re working on combining Equity and Commodity accounts. Should be possible after that. Cannot provide and ETA for now.
