So it is real, I did not watch the full video, but looks like it is real.
So this trader is brilliant (not talking about consistency), along with some luck, or is it just that it so happened? 
You trade, so why cant you figure it out, is it because of length of the video?

In the video shown, from the starting I can see the deposit , for the very first trade he took there is no transaction of span margin and exposure margin being blocked at all.

He has a set of tabs both in 1 hr and 20 mins video but shows only first 3 tabs and hides the rest.In the 1 hr video he keeps switching tabs which are hidden pretty odd and speaks more of his strategy and trading book than showing his actual P&L in 1 hr video.

I had full look at his trades , so apparently zerodha for account margins of greater than 50 lakhs does not charge AMC at all. That’s very odd.

Lastly someone deposited 40k and trades to make 1.2 cr but has only withdrawn 1 lakh and keeps rest and trades with that. And the guy is college student apparently leads a sage life that he doesn’t spend his money on bike or car or monthly expenses. His parents pay for all his expenses including college fees despite seeing his balance of 1.3 cr.
I need to wash my eyes before I watch these kinda videos.

That’s because this checks out. I am a sceptic generally, but I watched his latest video, and I believe him.
In 25 mins video, stop at 1:34 . There he shows the starting P&L record where he first transfers 20k and adds another 20,k. He doesn’t show that in 1hour video.

Lastly do explain me how someone has 1cr just debits 1lakh , is in college that literally doesn’t have expenses at all. That’s pretty BS, you still have college fees to pay. I can’t even see any withdrawal after the 1 lakh. I am pretty sure the commentator is also part of this. I don’t buy it.
Even if the video and stats are true, I don’t believe it is possible to replicate such returns on a consistent basis. And such videos will only make retail traders risk more of their capital and trade rashly with the hope of making such extraordinary profits.

My concern is, not that if this story is true or fake.
I need to know , with self made 1CR in the bank account at this age and with all prospects of becoming the next Jhunjhunwala of India, why is he still going to the college ?
He needs to drop out of college immediately.

I don’t want to dive into if the story is true or nicely played.
But we can never know the intentions of another human being. Let alone someone close to you.
He chose to go college maybe because he like college or maybe he never thought about quitting or maybe…
I am not backing him up, but we are open to all kind of inputs as humans.
We never know since we are not him.
Maybe the story is bs. Maybe the story is all facts as we haven’t done this kind of thing in trading,so we assume if we can’t do it, no one can.

I would agree with you. Even if this guy is legit and true , the risks he takes is a bad example for new traders. Trading is marathon not a race for sure. Saying things like 5% risk is not advisable at all.
Even I know my neighbourhood uncles who made 1cr from 10lakhs. Their name was all over neighbourhood , I am saying back in 2011. After a year or 2 , they stopped trading altogether and went back to buying land & doing real estate. Seems like one of them lost all the 1 cr and made account 0. Another one was smart made till 1.5 cr and took some 12 lakhs our before his account went to 0 too. They simply bought stocks and traded on news event & no money management.

I too have come across many such instances where by a stroke of luck someone makes an outsized profit, although there is no strategy is risk management involved in it. They keep repeating the same process unless they blow up their accounts.
It is important to educate people that such returns cannot be consistently replicated and are just a recipe for disaster.
