What is credit and debit in trading?

Credit is inflow in your account balance while Debit is outflow from your account balance.

Hello everyone,

I’ve a query something related to credit and debit. In my Console Dashboard - Account value shows as: 41.14k however in the Account value Graph below that, it displays Account value as: 52,970/-. When I hover mouse, it gives a bi-furcation as > Cash balance: 41,146 & Contracts value: 11,823

I’ve squared off all my positions from F&O Yesterday and there are no Holdings in my account as of now. However, why does Account display two different values and which one is the correct Account value.

Also, at the bottom of the page (just below the Account graph) it says Oct 1, 2020 - Account value: 52,970/-
but I can only withdraw the Cash Balance amount i.e, 41,146

Kindly help.
