Currency margin calculation

Hi,

Few doubts reg margin calculated for currency.
I read that margin is 2.5% for overnight.

  1. What price taken for margin calculation? Will it change when the price moves? I mean it’s fixed like opening price, closing price or live quote.

  2. Is there a scenerio, TM square off my position due to less margin after you paid and taken the position in currency future?
    let’s say I have bought 10 lots of USDINR with margin of 1796(71.86 * 1000* 0.025) * 10 = 17,960.
    Should I keep buffer amount in my trading account? If so how much percentage of capital is good.
