Why do we see price variations across platforms for the same day.
Example for HINDPETRO 6 May 2003 close price:
Zerodha - 22.7
TradingView - 44.3
NSE - 299
Which is the correct and actual traded price at exchange for security. I am aware the price are adjusted for corporate events, but still then price should same or minimal diff across platforms.
Interesting problem 
Well I can’t explain why Zerodha price is out of whack, but I can definitely explain difference between what tradingview and NSE is showing.
Main difference in two is because you are looking at two different data points and two different platform.
In tradingview - you are seeing chart of historic prices. In charts, generally prices are adjusted for corporate actions (like bonus, split etc.) this is to ensure chart data is correct over period of time.
In NSE, you are looking at historic trade data. This data is actual price at which a stock traded on that particular day and is not adjusted for any corporate action.
So both datapoints are correct. HPCL had couple of bonuses post that and effective adjustment would be 1 share in may’2003 = 6.75 shares today.
So closing price of 299 (shown on NSE) would match with adjusted price shown by Tradingview = 299/6.75 =44.3
I have no idea why Zerodha is showing a different price, but I assume that would be some error in adjustement.

Hi @J_R_Dinesh , apologies for the delayed response.
At Zerodha, historical OHLC data on Kite is adjusted for bonuses, splits, rights issues, spin-offs, and extraordinary dividends, i.e, 2% or more of the stock’s price.
Now, factor in 2 extraordinary dividends of 11 and 10.5, the adjusted price works out to around 22.8.

Looks like intraday price is completely wrong before 2018-12-24, maybe was not adjusted for corporate event
