A new firm/company debuts at NSE on 31st July 2017, How many days does it need to be updated in the Zerodha trading portal?

Once the issue closes the listing usually happens in 7-10 odd days and the shares will be credited to your demat the day before. If you are referring to the Security and Intelligence Services IPO you can check it’s schedule here:
