# Default lot quantity (preset order size)

It would be incredibly helpful if you could provide a feature that allows users to set a default lot quantity (preset order size) for index options (e.g., NIFTY, SENSEX).

Currently, when placing an order, the system defaults to the minimum 1 lot. Manually editing the quantity in the order window every time is time-consuming and can lead to execution delays or sizing errors during fast-moving markets.

When opening an order window or an option chain or Basket, the quantity field should automatically populate with this preset number.

We have an option in settings called “Remember F&O quantity.” Once enabled, it will automatically pre-select the same quantity (lots) as your last F&O order.
