Bids for the NTPC OFS will be accepted only till 3.15pm on 30 Aug 2017. Post this time, no new bids or bid modifications will be accepted.

If your account results in a debit, post allotment of OFS, interest at the rate of 0.05% will be charged on the debit balance.

The system will allow you to place a bid for the OFS even if you do not have funds in your trading account. The onus is on you to ensure that the funds are available in your account if you receive an allotment. In case you receive an allotment and there is a shortfall of funds in your trading account, then an interest of 0.05% will be charged on this shortfall amount.
For ex, if you have 20k in your account and you receive ofs shares worth 50k, then you have a debit balance of 30k and an interest of 0.05% will be charged per day on this debit balance until its cleared.

Any idea how soon the allotment is done ? T+2 ??
Does the 0.05% interest charge applies from 30th Aug itself or only on the date of allotment (if any)
