If i hold shares of delisted company for example Essar Oil. Will i still be a Shareholder in company records ? Will company profits be provided as dividend for these shares ? or are these shares obsolete ?

What happens to delisted stocks in Demat account
JUST FOR YOUR INFORMATION : shares of Essar oil which was d listed in December 2015 at 262.80 plus 75.48 was paid later means 338,28 per share, nowadays is being dealt around rs 100-150 per share with private dealers.
