I am a client of Zerodha for some years now. I have not done delivery purchases through Zerodha recently (roughly about an year). I understand that there has been some changes in authorization procedure for demat account debits. As a customer who has already given POA at the tome of account opening what are the impacts of same for me? Should I do anything differently for selling share?
If you submitted POA at the time of Opening Your Demat Account then no need to authorisation through CDSL is required. But for new clients of zerodha either they have to send POA or they Require to Authorize the Debit Transaction With 2 factor Authorization where you have to enter T-Pin and also you Require to submit the Otp you recieved in their registered mobile no. Earlier Only Tpin Is required for Authorization.
