Better to stay away from these companies…
DHFL is already a sunk ship resting at the bottom of the ocean right now.
Now if more retailers “invest”, maybe it will search for newer depths even below the ocean floor, like that Jason Statham movie recently where they find new deeper lows in Mariana Trench or something.

Piramal group has won the bid for DHFL, in the voting held by the Committee of Creditors. It plans to merge its financial services arm with DHFL. Also, the existing shareholders of DHFL will not get any compensation from the deal.
Do not hold equity share but some NCD and as i understand even on NCD there will be huge hair cut on redemption .
