Do all GSECs listed on secondary markets pay half yearly interest?

I was going through the GSEC[Government Securities] listing on Zerodha [NSE] lots of GSECs are being traded. I searched a lot but could not find a page which lists all the GSECs with their coupon dates and stating if they are Normal [Half Yearly Interest Paying] or Zero Coupon[Payout only @ Maturity].

Is there a way/sheet/list/nomenclature by which we can determine if a GSEC is Zero Coupon or Half Yearly Payout one.

As a short cut is there a date post which all GSECs issued were half yearly/yearly payouts?

You can go through this chapter on varsity to understand nomenclature on gsecs and yes as per my knowledge they all pay interest semi annual. Only T bills are discounted or zero coupons as their expiry is under a year.

@Prayag Remember you creating a sheet with all gsecs,if there is one can you add it here?

The list of all G-Secs is accessible here. It also contains the coupon payment dates for each G-Sec. But the list is currently a bit outdated (last updated on 2nd April 2021). I will update it

Thanks so much @siva sir , @Prayag Sir [This is an amazing resource Thnx So Much ]…

I was also just wondering are all GSECs equally secure , irrespective of tenure, interest rates, maturity period? Also is there any specific advantage over choosing SDLs over GSECs?

This one is really helpful. thank you.

@siva Sir, plz give some opinion on this… I was also just wondering are all GSECs equally secure , irrespective of tenure, interest rates, maturity period? Also is there any specific advantage over choosing SDLs over GSECs?

You mean in terms of default( credit) risk?

Yes it’s in 3 parts -

1] Do all GSEC series i.e. 2035, 2050, 2025 [Old/New, High Interest/Low Interest ] etc carry same default risk?
2] Is the default risk/credit risk of SDLs higher? Is there a scenario where buying SDLs makes better sense than GSECs? Taxation etc.
3] If I buy a GSEC[Or any other fixed income security ] @ INR 98 [Discount in secondary markets], I still get Rs 100 per Unit Capital Redemption on maturity right?

Thanks @siva Sir for and @Prayag sir for helping out.

Maybe you should try reading varsity module on gsecs which I shared above, all these queries are answered there.
